This is our biggest update since Team Pages. Until now, Smart Alerts worked once a match was live. Now they also work before kickoff and for a single match you choose. You can also see exactly how often our predictions have been right, and match screens have a lot more in them. Here's what's new.
⏰ Pre-Match Alerts
Smart Alerts watch live matches. Pre-match alerts work before kickoff: describe the kind of match you're looking for, and Goal Guru checks every upcoming fixture against it.
- Four kinds of conditions: Goal Guru's own prediction, each team's form over its last 3, 5, or 10 matches, the head-to-head record, and bookmaker odds. Combine up to five in one alert.
- Your choice of timing: a daily summary at the time you pick, covering the next 24 hours, or a reminder 3 hours, 1 hour, or 30 minutes before kickoff.
- 12 templates to start from, like Goals expected, Favourite in form, Underdog with a chance, and Draw-prone rivalry.
- See which matches fit right now before you save, so you know straight away whether your conditions are too strict or too loose.

🎯 Alerts for One Match
Sometimes you only care about one game. Open a match, go to its Smart Alerts tab and tap "Alert me for this match". Your conditions are checked live for that match only. You can switch a match alert on and off, and clear the ones whose matches have finished.
With three kinds of alerts, they now share one inbox, with a filter by kind, and every notification says which kind of alert sent it. The Smart Matches strip on My Matches shows the matches your alerts picked recently, each with the alert that picked it. A match's own Smart Alerts tab lists every alert that fired for it.
⚖️ Share Conditions
Smart Alerts can now compare the two teams directly. "The home team has at least 80% of both teams' dangerous attacks" fires when the home side has 16 to the away side's 4, however busy or quiet the match is overall. It's the simplest way to ask whether one team is running the game. Read more in Share Conditions: Alert When One Team Dominates, or try one in the Smart Alert Playground.
✅ How Accurate Are the Predictions?
Guru Vision now has four tabs: Today, Live, Surprises, and Track record. The Track record grades every pre-match prediction the morning after its match. It shows how often the model was right over a day, 7, 30, or 90 days, or all time: overall, for its most confident picks, and for each market. It also shows how often each chance the model gave actually came true. We explain why that last view matters in How We Measure Prediction Accuracy.
Live matches have their own tab with each match's pre-match call next to the live prediction. Live matches where the pre-match favourite is behind on the scoreboard get a Surprises tab of their own.
🔢 Score and Corner Predictions
Premium predictions now include:
- A score table with the chance of every scoreline up to 5-5 and the three most likely results called out.
- Ranges for total goals and total corners, for the match, each team, and each half.
- Next goal: during live matches, who is likely to score next.

👕 Lineups on a Pitch, xGOT on Every Shot
A match's Lineups tab now shows both starting XIs in their formation, with goals, cards, and substitutions on each player. Press and hold a player to see their role and the minute they came on or off. The shot map and timeline now show expected goals on target (xGOT) next to xG, and every goal carries the xG of the chance it came from. More on the Lineups & Shot Map page, and in xGOT Explained.
📈 Odds: Corner Markets and Clearer Trends
If you've turned odds on (they're off by default, and you confirm you're 18 or older first), the odds view is now grouped into Result, Goals, 1st Half, and Corners. The Corners group appears when a match has corner odds. Odds Trends has a grouped market picker, and each outcome shows how its price has moved. Odds are shown for information only.
📋 Team Stats: Last 3 and Ball Safe
Team pages and pre-match form now have a Last 3 view next to Last 5 and Last 10, and ball-safe time next to dangerous attacks. When a stat is based on fewer matches than the window you picked, the page says so instead of quietly averaging over less data.
💬 Reply and Share in the Community Chat
Swipe a message to reply to it. Share a match or one of your smart alerts with the community, and others can add the alert to their own list in one tap, within their plan's limits.
❓ A New FAQ, and What's New in the App
The in-app FAQ (Settings → FAQ) has search, topic filters, and answers laid out step by step. New features now come with a short What's New note when you open the app, and first-time tutorials for the pre-match alert editor and the lineups. You can replay them any time from Settings.
🇹🇷 Goal Guru in Turkish
Goal Guru is now available in Turkish, across the app and in notifications. More languages are on the way.
🎁 Launch Offer: The New Alerts Are Free Until 31 October
Until the end of 31 October 2026 (Istanbul time), match alerts and pre-match alerts are open to everyone, on every plan, with Guru limits. After that they're part of the Guru plan. Everything else stays as described on the Pricing page.
